Copying your Blackboard Course is easy to do! Here’s how you can do it…
Start with your existing course. This will either be a Master Course Shell, or your course from a previous term.
- In the Course Management Control Panel (left side of screen), click Packages and Utilities to expand that menu.
- Then select Course Copy.
- On the Course Copy screen, click Browse to locate the course you want the new content to go into.
- Click the button to the left of the course, and click Submit.
- Click Select All to select all the options. Don’t uncheck anything! This area contains settings that control assignments and grade center columns.
- You can change the Discussion Boards option so that you are not copying student discussions from a previous term into the new course.
Click Submit to initiate the copy process. Blackboard will send you an email when the copy process has completed.
